Welcome to Emily's Art blog! I'll be posting some of my artwork on here every week. It'll mostly be doodles I do through out the week. I'll also be posting the progress of some of my bigger pieces and then the finished piece. Here are some doodles to show you what you're getting into :)

Nice job on the horse! I used to draw on a regular basis and I remember horses were always a challenge for me but it looks like you've got them down! I think this is a great idea for a blog! Otherwise sketchbooks just end up on a shelf and hardly anyone gets to see what's inside. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI completely agree-I love looking back at my old sketchbooks, and even get ideas for new pieces from old doodles I have done. I love to see the progression of ideas in my own art, and will be interested to see yours.
ReplyDeleteVery nice. I don't have a lot of skill in this area so I have much admiration for those of you who can actually draw. The last time I tried to doodle cow it ended up looking more like a chicken. I'm supposed to take Basic Drawing for non majors next semester. Maybe that will help. Where did you learn to draw?
ReplyDeleteI'm uber jealous of your skills! I'm in a drawing class right now and haven't ever really drawn before. It has shined a little light for me, but nothing near as good as what you've got going for you! Especially with a pen! Jeez! It takes me hours to get something to look even half as good!...So in other words...good work!
